Declaration of Inner Government

I govern what is inside me before I govern anything around me.

I govern my mind by capturing the thoughts that do not serve Christ and replacing them with truth.
I govern my emotions by naming what I feel and deciding how I respond.
I govern my body with sleep, movement, and food as acts of stewardship.
I govern my personal finances with clarity and intention.

Not because I am perfect — but because I have chosen to be governed by the Spirit instead of by my impulses.
